Fahad Awan, Violin

Violinist Fahad Awan, a native Texan, has a multifaceted career as an orchestral player and chamber musician. He performs regularly with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago as well as the Chicago Sinfonietta. Fahad recently traveled to Kenya as part of a cultural exchange grant through the Chicago Sinfonietta and MacArthur Foundation. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music and Indiana University where he was a student of David Updegraff, Stephen Rose, and Alex Kerr.
